I don't know about the Thor thing but you'll feel after toting this thing around the field for a few hours. The G&G long is only 1.25 lbs lighter than the real steel version and with a mag of heavier weight BBs and a scope you'll be looking at around 12 pounds.
The accuracy and the range I get are not matched by my tuned VFC M4 and will likely only be surpassed by a professionally tuned rifle done by someone who knows what they are doing. I can easily hit a torso target consistently in the 250 ft range with .32 BB's.
