If it's for springers, silicon oil will increase fps if applied to the pistonhead (generally gun cocked, upside down with mag out........ oil improved my fps by sealing better, but wasn't anything outrageous, maybe 20-30fps max. Was proven to me on my TM G17 springer and Crosman P99 springer).

Only way fps will increase with oil in an AEG is to reduce the amount of friction the hop up rubber inside the barrel has. But if anything, maybe 10-20fps at the most. Adding oil to a neglected gun that is shooting way below standard, ok, I can see a large increase. Doing it to a moderately maintained gun............ bullshit.
