Sling.
I went ahead and took some photos of my rifle and sling setup so you can see what I am talking about. But from the sound of it you are happy with what you got.
In the pictures I have a RAP4 M4 paintball gun and my 308 sniper rifle. In the small pack on my back I also have my ghillie suit as seen in the other photos. I also have the rest of my gear in my vest. the rifle does not have ghillie on it because in real life you cant have things touching the barrel or your gun will not be accurate.
The really nice thing about the way my sling works is that you can bring the weapon to the firing position without taking the sling off it takes less then 3 seconds. Also you can run without it moving around too much and there is no way it can slid off your shoulder because the sling goes around your neck.
