Heh, thats easy to do.
5 min quick dry spray paint, get a good coat on, while eating greasy Potato chips, when it gets tacky just not quite dry you take your greasy fingers and smear the paint.
You'll see the finger prints on the gun, here I done it to a plastic M4.
