Looks like metal to me. Although Im not the retailer selling it, if your not sure contact them dont ask here.
However in this one instance the mechbox is metal.
However a red flag that I see is plastic/nylon bushings. Those will degrade over time if there is a very strong spring in there, and if there isnt and you intent to put a stronger spring in, I would replace those with metal bushings.
Someone on here said those 7mm mechboxes were crap, Im not sure who said it though, but someone did. I cannot recall specific circumstances either. Oh well, buy at your own risk.
