I believe with the tip if it's painted on some paint thinner/stripper should work. There was another product that someone else used which was intended for stripping paint off models but I forget what it's called.

EDIT: Also I've heard that people have had success with sharpie pens just "colouring" over the orange tip.

Don't take my word for gospel though because I've never had to deal with this kind of thing.
