Well its hard to say for sure from that picture, but it looks as if the lower motor's casing is a lot shorter. The best way to check for any variance is to get a set of calipers and measure the length from the lower plate to the top of the pinion gear.
EDIT: I thought your old motor was an eg1000. what do you have in the picture?
