Why would you need a PAL anyways?

If they really were restricted for import you wouldn't have them seized and destroyed. You need a different license to import restricted items than to possess them. It's essentially the difference between a PAL and BFL, one you can possess firearms by buying in country the other you require to import and sell.

Just walk up and ask to speak to a manager if you have any problems. The manager/supervisor should at least know what they can and cannot release to you.

It's pretty obvious that those pistol mags aren't meant for real bullets and the barrel isn't restricted, it's just a metal tube for all they know. Grips? come on, they could be for your cap gun. Slides aren't restricted either (pistol frame is restricted) but may actually give you some questions and looks just because.
