Eickhorn-Solingen Bayonet CAN2000
Hi all
Got this nice bayonet into my collection (it is possible to buy it legally from manufacturer) ![]() is there any way how to take the blade off in order to replace the metal blade with plastic or rubber safety one for airsoft needs? need just for impressions and don't want to store it with metall blade

Why would you want to destroy such a nice knife?

The bayonet probably has a full tang so removing the blade only is not really an option.

Looks so.. thanks to all! Got reply from E-S support. They confirm that it not possible to do without damaging the plastic part.
Will think about molding to make replica...but it will be not now..too many projects and not so much money to finish them all ![]()

I bought a rubber M7 bayonet (same as our C7 type) from a company called "Fieldwerks".
The casting is excellent, and it attaches nice and securely to my GBBR C7 rifle. ![]() "This is a rubber replica of the Vietnam era M7 bayonet. It was cast from an actual M7, all markings are in place. It is great for your Vietnam reenacting or airsoft events. The rubber is durable, flexible, and the edges are not sharp. It is a good alternative to carrying your expensive original into the field, or a cool display piece. The knife was cast in a silicone mold so it holds all of the detail of the original .The knife is cast all black." As it cost only $31, I didn't see any way doing it myself would make sense. http://thefieldwerks.com/m7_bayonet_rubber_replica.html
