Anyone live in or around Lloydminster?

So it turns out this summer I may make the move over to the Flat land from my beloved home town of Victoria. Just wondering what there is as far as airsoft in and around the Lloydminster area. Wouldnt want to move to a place without it!

For those of you that dont know where Lloydminster is, its on the Border of Alberta and Saskatchewan...... like half and half.

Youre not that far away from Saskatoon, we have a small collective here.
The majority of the games we play however are done in Regina.

Here is a link to the local groups board, the prairie dogs of war. Anything going on will usually be posted if not hosted by them.

i used to live in lloyd, nice place, but i dunno about alot of airsofting. if u do move there, i got family with a huge farm not to far out, and ive always wanted to have a huge game there. if u end up moving to lloyd lemme know and well get u in on a game next time im over that way

You can also slide over to Edmonton as we are not that far away.

Haha yeah its kind of in the middle. About 4 hours to Edmonton and about 4 hours to Saskatoon. Kinda sucks... Even worse when your only vehicle is a gas guzzling hog.

So far its not looking to promising, here on the island im 45 minutes away from the field, and I was born and raised here. The damn girlfriend and kid are planning on moving there since her entire family is about 5 minutes apart from eachother in Lloyd

Yeah youre just under a 3 hour boot to Saskatoon, and 5 hours from Regina. That could be a hurting pain in the gas tank.

Oh I can feel the ever so empty wallet now. Yeah my motor deffinatly wasnt built for fuel econemy I can tell you that much.

I understand this post is old, user accounts most likely disband. On the off chance someone checks this, there is a new hardcore airsoft team starting up in Lloydminster, 3 guys on it so far, all using quality gear and the 2 leaders are EX-Canadian forces. I am just a rookie lol.

Funny, I just searched airsoft in Lloydminster, and this is what popped up. Talk about coincidence that you just refreshed the thread today, with good news! I'm moving to Neilburg, which, to my understanding, is about 40 or 50 mins from Lloyd. I've been airsofting for several years, with no plans of quitting. I WILL be looking you guys up. My gf also loves the sport. Where do you play? Do you have a field of your own somewhere?
