SLR-105 A1 Paratrooper...

So since everyone is raving about the CA SCAR.. i thought Id rave about the SLR-105 A1 Para thats supposedly already out as of today... I'll get to the point, I want one... bad... I've been always a big fan of AKs with folding stocks... and full metal AKs... so this one thats commin out... i want..

Unfortunately.. So far, no US retailers (yes.. i currently reside in the US) has any preorders for them.. or even mentions then.. all they talk about is the scar.... sigh...

So any body kno any news on this Para version?

oh.. just saw on arnies that its supposed to be released march 7th instead of march first... dammit.. thats so far away...

Also, i see on wgc that the VFC AKS-74s are in stock.. are they out already?.

well i mean in the US... since right now.. i live there. I don't exactly want to blow 450+ dollars on something thats going to be seized and destroyed (especially a VFC model)

I have ordered off WGCshop before and not had the AEG seized.

Also plenty of loacl US stores can get them for you.

I personally use www.scorpionairsoft.com - the owner is a good friend and can get just about anything anywhere for very good prices.

Call him and tell him I sent you and you may be very happy with what you hear.

Is that supposed to contradict some other statement? You are in the US, I don't see why it would be seized.

US laws are very different than Canadian laws regarding importing Airsoft. We cannot bring guns into the country without strict liscense. Read our FAQ section for all the detais.

Either that or pray that ICS releases the folding stock of their AK-74M as a kit.

Get VFC, CA messed up with their folding stock assy. I just saw one last weekend, it doesn't look as good as VFC. Gun worked well, but that stock assembley looks really bad.
Also, due to design flaw para can only take 600mah stick batteries.
