I was wondering if it was possible to make your own battery pack for an AEG. Would it work if you used say 6-8 9V 400mah Lithium-ion rechargeables and connected them in a parallel arrangement? Would this give out current fast enough to run the motor? would the charger attached to one charge all of the batteries at the same rate as it charges one?
Responses appreciated ![]()

No
Li-ion cells cannot give enought instantaneous power to drive your gun correctly.. You can make your how custom packs, but it is not worth it if you make only 1-2 packs... Better stick with Nickel based cells and buy premade packs (I do my packs... 10 at the time, then sell some.... that is the only way you can save a few bucks) |

Check out www.onlybatterypacks.com
They have a great airsoft section, fast shipping and they also carry individual cells if you do want to make your own pack. But make sure to get someone with knowledge of constructing packs to do it for you, like a local battery shop. |

if I took 7 Sub-C Ni-Mh 1.2V 4500mah batteries and just connected them in series it should work right?
