How to keep a balanced belt
I'm sure lots of other people on here have had this happen. When using drop leg holsters or subloads, by lunch your belt is at a 30 degree angle. I never liked sticking mags on my belt for counter weight so I got a pair of HSGI suspenders. They made wearing a belt way more comfortable but didnt really help to keep the belt even. Currently I'm running a Safariland 6004, an HSGI drop leg dump and the HSGI suspenders all on your standard 2" web belt as my first line. I havnt had a chance to field test it yet but I'm hoping that it should be all nice and balanced now.
Anyhow, I'm just wondering what you guys have done about this. Besides switching to a riggers belt or something that will fit through belt loops or going with right and left drop legs I'm out of ideas. |

You can try duty belt keepers, which snap your outer belt to your inner pants belt. On a similar note, if you have an inner belt that has hook velcro on the outside, you can just velcro the outer duty belt onto it. The duty belt keeper solution is more troublesome, but it provides better balance and support.
