MikeL is giving you very good advise. You should listen.
How long have you been playing with your SR-25? Not too long I bet. The more you play with it, the lighter it will feel. Unless you have some extra long inner barrel that your suppressor is hiding, I would remove that. I like using a 3-point sling by Eagle. BlueForceGear Vickers Combat Application sling is another great sling you should look at. Forget about buying replica slings. The wider the sling, the more comfort to carry. Use the sling when there's little chance of contact with the other team. Or when you're moving back to respawn because you got caught when you didn't have your gun in a ready position. lol When you're moving to contact, unsling your rifle. You never know which side the tangos will hit you and having your rifle slung, makes it difficult to transition from strong to weak side. When drawning your pistol, you don't need 2 hands to do so. I find that having your hand on your rifle will give you better control instead of having the rifle swing uncontrolled as you try to find cover or retreat back to your team-mates.
