Madbull JP conversion kit
Hey guys,
does anyone know if a Madbull JP conversion kit would fit on an ICS M4A1? It`s the 12" hanguard and I want to keep my existing outer barrel. If anybody has had any experience with these kits I would love some insight. http://www.madbullairsoft.com/Englis...roducts_id=120 thanks |

I had one, very nice build. It's a two piece barrel, but the design of it felt almost as sturdy as a one piece, it's a very well built kit.
Threading on the barrel nut is metric, so as long as ICS is as well it should. |

Been considering getting it, so I can complete an actual JP-15. Since I have the Madbull JP rifles receiver.
Good to hear that it is quality.

happy to hear that it's a good kit. I was actually more concerned about the handguard itself fitting on the ICS receiver. Is the handguard metric as well?

It should fit...there threading on the JP nut is very precise, so there's no guarantees unless your receiver threading is as precise.
I've done 3-4 sets. They're great builds, very solid and slick. Aside from maybe a small rail for a vert grip every now and then I prefered to run it plain. I would loctite (blue/temp) the little screws, since you don't want to over torque them nor have them work loose. You may find that the bipod lug isn't centered when you get it tightened on...just use a shim or two until it's lined up right. Tys |

That kit is great. I use it with my stock metal CA receiver and it was originally on a TM receiver.
I love the range in outer barrel lengths. I primarily run the second longest but change to the shortest one to use with a suppressor but both are with a 509mm inner tightbore. build quality is excellent and solid, though I did strip one screw on the top rail near the receiver because my gas tube is on an odd angle. I was a bit excited installing it that I didn't notice it bottoming out on the gas tube. |

I have a Madbull JP frontend installed on my ICS m4.
I had to buy a Madbull re-threading tool and have my gun doc re-thread the body to make the frontend fit properly. There was also a bit of wobble after it was installed, that was fixed by adding a rubber washer from a stock TM piston head to make it more of a snug fit. Works great and looks slick as hell now!

I have very little wobble with the CA receiver but on the stock TM M4 receiver I had lots. I just used a scope riser mount to lock the outer to the body. I still use the riser for piece of mind so when I rest my AEG up against a wall or something, there's zero flex.
