Dude just ask Duy to send it to you via regular post with bubble letter, it will cost you $3 of shipping and it will arrive to your place in 4 days instead of 1.

Oh yeah BTW, I've read some info on cutting rubbers and such. Does this apply to the guarder clear? If so, are there any rubbers that don't require it?

nop, any rubber youll buy will have a bump inside, you need to trim it if you want your SCS to work perfectly

Is there a specific method to cutting the bump out of the rubber? I used scissors and ruined one of my guaredr clears :O

I read something about flipping it inside out and using a razor blade/sharp knife.

Hmm. Okay I will try this method. I guess it must be a very clean cut as if the surface inside is not smooth the rubber is useless.

Sorry, not doing the free shipping thing anymore. With that I was just putting in a stamped envelope, but a few were lost by tearing through the paper. Everything goes out shipped and insured now

Depending on the brand of rubber you could also just shoot the gun until the bump wear down to a more reasonable rate.
There is nothing wrong with just inserting the SCS nub into any rubber and going ahead with it. For BEST results use a broken in rubber with the bump removed. Prometheus Rubbers have a long break in period but last far longer than the guarder clears. After removing the bump from a guarder clear the SCS over time worn grooves into the rubber and eventually through it. Ended up tossing it after ~15k rounds (by empty bag count). Perhaps it's just me but I notice only a VERY marginally difference between them. If someone is willing I'd trade a bump cut rubber for a new one or one of my broken in rubbers. |
