Low cap mags for an ICS M4
Which brand and where for an optimal cost/fit/reliability ratio.
Metal or plastic. 30, 50, 68 rounds? Preferably a retailer near Waterloo. I'm Taliban this Sunday and I'd like to be prepared. It came with two hicaps so I'm not S.O.L. but they rattle. Thanks.

A more specific inquiry
What about Magpul PTS PMAG 30R 10pc Box Set from eHobby Asia for $55? Is it a decent magazine and is eHobby a trustworthy vendor. The same thing from Airsoftparts.ca is nearly twice as much.

Huang is in Toronto, his Metal 68 rounders from Dboys worked great for my ICS when I had it.

Good point. That should have occurred to me. It was late when I posted. Anyone have an opinion on the quality?

So, no opinions on the Magpul PTS PMAG 30R 10pc Box Set at Airsoftparts.com?
I must have found the most inert subject in the forums. Ah well.

The PMags are a very tight fit in The ICS magwell. I wouldn't recommend getting them. It's too bad that they don't fit very well cause they are awesome :P.
If your looking for low caps. The D-boys metal 68rounders fit perfectly and feed awesome too. They only hold about 50 bbs but that's still pretty solid. Or you can go the midcap route and buy G&P 130 round midcaps. They fit better than the ICS mags do :P. |

I have Pmags (10) in 30 rounds and 75 rounds, they work perfectly in my ICS M4, KWA M4 and my Classic Army M15A4. They work in my VFC Scar now that I modified the magwell. The magpul s with a window that lets you see the bullets are bigger and probably wont work in your ICS. I like Pmags, they are a good deal and look great but you cant fit 2 of them in the same mag pouch. Never had any problems in the last two years (including winter) with the 30 rounds mags, the 75 round mags need a little tlc once in a while.

Did anybody ever modify (stick in 70 bb's between and back plate) the MAG plastic 100/130 midcaps... they work like the cats ass, come in different colors and cost next to nothing (38.00$ for 8 or something) on Ehobbyasia. Cheers Pete
