Yeah, the heat shield doesn't really seem useful in airsoft. I also don't really see a need for the forward rails (they are just on the sides) but it would be cool to mount a really big tac light--just because.

i would love to see a wood stock and all the rails gone. Make it look like a C6

Or mount grenade launchers on each side.

after further looking into the gun, I have to say $1000 in canada is worth it. IF i had the money to burn I would.

Echo1 has already released all of the parts separately, so you can buy an entire spare magazine, just the magazine servo, the aluminum body, etc. It took A&K two years to start releasing spare magazines for their M60 line.

Seeing as these are $750 in the US, $1000 for this gun to my door from a Canadian retailer sounds very fair.

Also its an echo1 so you know its going to be good quality.

I have heard nothing but good about this gun from people that have it

do we know if there will be aftermarket part support? i love it all but the plastic of the stock looks reallllly chintzy.

hm, as an aside, does anyone know if real steel m240 wooden stocks are available anywhere?

$1000CAD for a $750USD gun?

Unless it's being brought in at over 430fps nobody is going to waste their time bringing that in, you'll have to get it yourself.

Shouldn't be a problem, as it comes with a 400FPS spring installed and a 480 as well. The retailer could just install the 480 FPS spring in it.
