Why not just modify the trigger guard?

Sold out right now but you never know until you call... They ship to Canada too (good folks, recommended), however you may want to call them first to make sure they'd ship this piece. Even though it's harmless, the word 'trigger' may cause Canada customs to freak out. Again, you'd probably have better luck on a real steel forum. You wouldn't want to modify the trigger guard because that's how the trigger assembly is removed on that rifle, at least on real steel. Regarding using it on an M14, it will work, this is yet another of the interchangeable parts between the two rifles.
