Hey guys,
Was wondering if anyone can tell me where to get this lanyard and straps that are straped on to IDF guns? |

Its an OD elastic band pretty much. Closest thing I've seen that is like that are LBE Bands aka Ranger Bands. You might be able to find some large ones, otherwise you might be able to stretch out the smaller ones to go around a mag, handguards, etc.

Is it me or does it look like there's paracord between the ranger band on the grip and mag? Some sort of mag retention system for a speedy first reload?!?

I've read it's pretty common for the IDF soldiers to attach all of there parts with those elastic bands and paracord to ensure that nothing is either lost or left behind. Even the first mag is attached so that they don't drop it and leave it behind.

If you have to just slice up an old bike inner tube as a ranger band.
It's not that "733T" but it's all i do n they work fine plus you can cut them as wide or thin as you want for more or less elasticity n can always paint them od if needed i suppose. |
