input on this mask I made
I work in a stainless steel shop and I decided to use some of this perferated stainless to make a mask...
it covers my lower face and all around my ears... is it cool? tacky? or lame? I sewed on the elastic wraps, then put a coat of contact cement over the sewing to protect the stitching a lil bit... its very light, its 16 gauge thick...

I walk around my house in my underwear untill I need to leave... lol
Ive shot a few rounds into and they just bounce off...I havent tried taking a shot off the face with it on though...., I imagine its still gonna hurt getting shot in the face, but I could shake it off... it can bend better to my face if needed

Not bad for a DIY and if it works.. great! but i would definatly add some shape to it, it looks like your wearing a spaghetti strainer on your face, And ya put some freakin clothes on man we dont wanna see that........lol And put a brush through your hair unless the electrified rooster look is what your goin for......again lol

Try shouldering your rifle and aim down the sights. Look like it will not work.

You've got really nice blue eyes.
Paint the mask black and you'll be a ninja.

I think what you have there is a nice prototype. Workmanship looks first class. I got a mesh mask from a retailer for CQB but the damn thing is so rigid I cant get it to fit right with my goggles.
I was wondering if your material is flexible. After all it's purpose is to take the energy out of the hit, it's doesnt need to be rock hard. If it was flexible and it was smaller, just big enough to protect the mouth and the tip of the nose I would be very interested. It might be a good alternative to a mouthpiece.
