Battery and charger is fine. Your battery is already fully charged.

Each cell will max out at about 3.6-3.7v when charging.

What coach said. Most of my 3S lipos will dump out 13v when fully charged, then settle back down a bit.

You'd know if your charger was putting out the wrong voltage because you'd have had yourself a nice bonfire otherwise. Lipos are incredibly intolerant of improper charging.

Nope charger Is definitely broken it gets so extreamly hot when charging. Has done this since the day I bought it. Very unimpressed with TORONTO AIRSOFT.

You blame the retailer cause you happen to have gotten the lemon product?

A by product of charging is heat FYI.

Some charges even have fans on them to try and cool them off a lot of the smaller chargers do not.

This charger has a fan it doesn't function never did.
I purchased this charger and a battery from TA, explained to him I know nothing and to show me what I needed to make the battery work 11.1v 1300 small lipo.
He pushes the most expensive charger they carry on me, explains to me it will work.
120$ later I leave the store, (Sunday night) get home set the charger to storage mode ( because I won't be useing it for a while till I go out and play and realize the charger has deans and other plug ins and not the Tamia (s.p.) connecter the battery comes with that he sold me. So now I'm stuck they don't open till Wednesday. I live in Bolton it's a 45min drive with 0 traffic. So w.e. I had to go and bet my battery and gun wired to deans from select paintball. Get home storage charge the battery, took many 5 minutes because they are pre storage charged. ( like I said I'm new to airsoft and didn't know this) now a week or so I go pull the charger out of the box and it gets very! Hot I mean hot after 10 minutes of balance charging the battery. Now I'm back to here. Just a little bio on what iv been through.

So basically, what you're saying, is you did/have done zero research on batteries, battery connectors, and chargers.

Yes, they sold you a $120 charger. You wanted to charge LiPos. Welcome to the LiPo club. Proper LiPo chargers ARE that expensive. If you use a cheap lipo charger, you run the risk of destroying the battery. And LiPo batteries destroy themselves in very violent fireballs (google LiPo fire). You want to run lipos, you use the proper equipment or risk burning your house down.

Where did you buy a LiPo with Tamiya connectors? Toronto Airsoft? I didn't think anyone made LiPos with Tamiyas. LiPos are designed for high current draw... tamiyas are the archenemy of high current draw. Regardless, you should have confirmed this before you left the store. I wouldn't assume the connectors were the same, and most retailers are likely to assume you can do a simple connector swap, since it's pretty much a required skill in airsoft, RC, etc.

Now you say the fan never worked. Why didn't you contact TA as soon as you discovered this? It wouldn't have taken much for a simple "Hey, just got home, doing a storage charge on the lipos, and the fan isn't charging. Is that normal?" A quick internet search probably would have accomplished the same thing.

While it sucks your charger is busted, this is hardly Toronto Airsoft's fault.

It charged the battery in under 5 minutes in that time it didn't heat up yet due to the short charging time, now the second time I use it its heating up, no cooling fan.
Just called TA and they said its over the 14 day return policy, so I should bring it in and we "might" give you a "small" discount on it.
And please tell me o great KALNAREN how you buy a car at a dealership? Imagine they ship a car to you're house and give you the wrong keys. Then you post on BMW forums how they screwed up, and you get some guy on there saying you should have magically known just by looking at the key that it wouldn't work. Some chargers need the power and balance plugged in and some don't this one does, and he didn't inform me.
