Aimpoint M-2 Replica - Aliexpress
Is this a reputable site in regards to quality? They're prices are wicked so it concerns me that the quality might be bad, heres the item in question http://www.aliexpress.com/store/prod...429597923.html Thanks in advance!
*EDIT - links to better M2 replicas would be appreciated as well, open to suggestions Last edited by frapso; June 3rd, 2013 at 12:44.. |

aliexpress is mostly distributors/manufacturers, and that price is pretty much the same as what you'll find on ebay and Chinese websites.

I would suggest going with the replica from the OP, the ones from airsoft depot are great in terms of aesthetics, but do not hold zero at all on a GBBR in my experience from the two i have purchased (m2 replica and 552 replica). might as well save some money.

Oh we do hate you, just never felt like wasting the time to give you a user title :P

As for the ones from Huang (airsoftdepot) The eotech ones not so good for gbbr but the m2 linked (the ones that are red only not the red/green dot ones DO hold zero fine on a we gbbr had it on for 2 games now. Including having the rifle tossed to me from about 10 feet away and it landing hard on the ground. Being transported in the car and having 30 plus mags put through it it has held the setting exactly no re zeroing needed. If you have the red/green version or an older version it may or maynot hold zero but the one i have been using is great so far. As soon as i get out to shoot with some of the guys i will test it on a real AR to see how she fairs.
If you look at this link the first page of the "old" ones that are in that 30-40 doller range in sure suck on a gbbr but the new ones listed as shockproof are just that http://airsoftdepot.ca/catalog/index.php?cPath=21_24

+1 what Hectic said
I have one of the "shock proof" ones and its been fine on my GBBR, holds zero as nicely as my old Guarder one. The Guarder one is the nicest Aimpoint around, IMO: has a broader range of brightness settings (5 settings but there's a bigger difference between each one: from really dim for darkness to really bright for full daylight), no visible tint, a slightly finer dot size and better flip caps. The Huang one has nice trademarks and there's a Killflash that fits onto it which is nice. Bluer tint to the optics however, and the flip caps are total crap (mine self destructed during the first game).

I own the one Huang linked on my WE M4 and never had issues with it. Holds zero since day 1 and the quality overall is nice. Only issues so far is the flip caps being crap as well. I have to silicone my pin hole because it managed to disassemble in the middle of a game.

@ Hectic, lol funny enough you should say that because the one i had indeed was the older/green&red version. perhaps i'll check out the new one and put it through testing.
